| The beauty of painting natures light is the unexpected result. The artist must work quickly as the light is always changing. I try to capture simple moments and let the landscape speak to my emotions. New challenges must be overcome with every session. The art of the persuit is what drives me.

The distant mountains seem to be holding a line of clouds that was rising up behind a stand of aspen . I worked a few small sketches to capture the fleeting light. I believe this spontaneous work is a result of studying with renowned American artist Scott Christensen
